An application fee of $15.00 (cash or check), payable to Glynn County Probate court, $10.00 cash for the Glynn County Sheriff’s Office 1812 Newcastle Street, Brunswick (912-554-7600) to cover the cost of fingerprinting and local records check. Local checks are accepted with picture ID and telephone number(s).

New applicants must pay an additional $24.00, payable to the Georgia Criminal Investigation Center (G.C.I.C.) This MUST be in the form of a money order or a cashier’s check.

On new applications, this process may take as much as three months, but usually for renewals the time is 7 to 10 days, and normally not over 30 days for new applicants.
