Article I, Section I, Paragraph VIII   The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed, but the General Assembly shall have the power to prescribe the manner in which arms may be borne.

HB-6 introduced Date added 11/21/06: Location: All of Georgia Rep Bobby Franklin introduced HB 6 today. This bill prohibits State and Local officials from the confiscation of firearms legally held by Georgia citizens during emergency situations. This bill was part of last years GFODL bill and is again on the GFODL bill this year. It failed to get out to the floor for a vote. Contact your reps and request they support this bill.
